Our Projects
We strive to continuously work and produce projects to ensure our town is moving in the direction of being an anti-racist community. Our committees are designed to work in a flow to produce our projects. They aren't only projects that focus externally, but also internally. We work with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to reflect the community within our work.

Equity Exchange Book Club
By utilizing books, activities, and an interactive presentation, Equity Exchange motivates children to become advocates within their own community. On July 17th, we had our first session at the Fairfield Public Library. Together, we discussed the book Something Happened in Our Town: A Child's Story About Racial Injustice by Marianne Celano, Marietta Collins, and Ann Hazzard and followed our discussion with an activity.
